We care about our Fra’ Anselmo, a monk who lived on the estate centuries ago. And with the most “sacred” reverence towards him, to honor his memory, we could only make this pure Perricone (a red grape variety typical of our territory) a majestic wine. A wine that manifests itself in all its organoleptic complexity with a deep ruby coat, evoking the elegance and mystery of ancient tales. Upon smell, an unexpected journey begins through the memories of the territory: the “dark” fragrances of the fruit – blackberries, blueberries and plums – reveal themselves from the first taste, and allow us to reveal one anecdote after another, each more intriguing of the previous one. But it’s not just about fruit: touches of spices and balsamic accents embellish the narrative, making the experience even more compelling. Finally, like an epilogue written by nature itself, the vigorous tannins join in perfect harmony with the warm embrace of alcohol, a direct gift from the Sicilian sun that lovingly kisses the vineyards of Tenuta Incarrozza.
