Alicante Rosato

ROSATO
Alicante is a vine originating from the warm lands of Valencia in Spain, which we, as per Benedictine tradition, have welcomed on our lands, at the foot of the majestic Etna. Precisely this combination of elegant internationality and pragmatism of the Sicilian lands gives the wine an incredible alchemy of structure, harmony and balance. Thanks to manual harvesting, from ora et labora, we can guarantee a meticulous selection of each grape, and attention to every smallest detail to preserve the authenticity of the aromatic bouquet. And so, our Alicante, in a gesture of pure essence, spends its time exclusively in steel, keeping its sensorial richness intact. Born from alluvial soils, where sand mixes with rock fragments and organic substances, our Alicante is refined in barriques, in close contact with its fine lees. For four months, under the watchful eye of our winemakers, the wine regenerates itself through continuous batonages (that is, loving stirring of the lees), making each sip an ode to the idea that an international grape variety expresses itself best only in the encounter with the local territories that know how to make each wine a unicum of sensations, flavors and combinations.
